Shorts are short vertical clips with their own feed, but technically they are ordinary YouTube videos. So the flow does not change: copy the link, paste it above and choose a format.

The easiest way to get the link is the Share button under the clip — it gives a youtube.com/shorts/… address or a short youtu.be one. Both work; there is no need to convert them by hand.
