When a video will not download
Check the link first: it must point at a single video page and open in a browser without signing in. Channel, playlist and feed links are not valid, and an address trimmed by a messenger is best copied again.
Make sure the video is not private, unlisted, age-restricted, paid or a live broadcast in progress. Those are not processed, and the restriction cannot be worked around.
